Curb Your Enthusiasm

Speaking of teevee, I loved the grand finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Unlike Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, I also thought the finale of Seinfeld was great. I'll be bingeing Curb from the beginning. (I’ve been bingeing Seinfeld too.)

I wanted my wife to watch Curb with me. She said she doesn’t have to watch it, she lives with it. I’m kind of a composite of LD’s character and the “Monk” detective character. I wonder how horrible LD really is IRL. It’s well known that the George Costanza character is supposed to be based on LD, but I don’t see a lot of similarity.

One curious thing is that while JB Smoove is very funny, it seems to me that from the standpoint of race his character is problematic, as in Amos ‘N Andy problematic. And after some looking I found no commentary in this vein on the Internets.
