In U.S.A., Israel Boycotts YOU!!

Deep dive here on the ongoing pogrom waged by Jewish institutions in the U.S. against Zionism-skeptical employees. It is interesting to note that these same organizations liked to cultivate culturally edgy sorts of workers to better project inclusiveness and attract outside interest and support.

So what does it mean for the future of these institutions, and U.S. Jewish life more broadly, as they do a 180 on that practice, if that practice was well-founded in the respect noted above? It suggests accelerating the secularization of American Jews, decried by some, the same thing as the disappearance of the U.S. diaspora.

World Jewry without the U.S. diaspora, which until now was predominantly liberal-Zionist, becomes quite a different thing. And not an appealing thing.
