Substack Administrivia
It has come to my attention that some subscribers may wonder why they receive no notices of new contributions to this website. That is deliberate. Nobody receives such notices because I will not harass people with email. If there was a way to allow subscribers to opt into or out of such notices I would implement it. Otherwise you just have to monitor my Twitter or Facebook feeds, where I usually post notices of new posts to this site. Self-promotion has never been my strong suit.
At some point I will begin to ask subscribers for donations, to fuel my dubious campaign for Virginia state legislature. The ask will be just once, and donors will not receive subsequent requests for additional donations. We all get enough of that from national candidates and personalities.
POSTSCRIPT: I’m informed by a subscriber that it is possible to subscribe to my posts from my Authory website. Strictly your choice. So my policy for this Substack outpost remains the same. No email spam to subscribers.
