That’s Trump. There is angst about state governments keeping him off the ballot. I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here by disagreeing. Like any other sentient human, nothing would please me more than Trump suffering a smashing defeat in the 2024 elections. Indications are this is unlikely, but even so there is an overriding principle.
You got that right Max. If only there were more people on the center, the left and the left who understood that the election is not an issue of morality or purity, but rather a practical choice between a and B, you don’t have to love a to vote for him, you just have to realize incredible danger of not doing so. It would seem simple, but it isn’t. The war is making it more difficult among the young and the third-party candidates confuse those who believe this is a morality test. This week I’m confident that Trump would lose. But I change day to day. Happy new year and I always enjoy reading your stuff. It’s a pleasure.
